The idea for ZIOS began several years ago based upon the amount of sugar and artificial flavors I saw in popular sports, immunity, and energy drinks. Fast forward to 2020 and I was watching people drink several different things per day. 1 for hydration, 1 for immunity, and 1 for energy. I thought to myself, “Do people realize they are consuming more sugar than a snickers bar?” I started asking and realized that they had no idea what they were drinking. In their quest to be healthy people were consuming lots of added sugars and or artificial ingredients. 2020 reminded us all of the importance of health and I was convinced there must be a better way. The goal sounded simple to create a drink that tastes great is all-natural and has no added sugar. I was wrong, why are many of these other drinks made the way they are? Sugar makes things taste good and artificial is cheaper.

Most good things in life are not easy so I set out to achieve an awesome tasting drink without the added sugar. We began working with top food scientists from around the world and after 46 trials we did it. Natural, No added sugar, and Great Taste.
